In Search Of The Right Handbag

I recently noticed that the one handbag I've been using for work is starting to fall apart on its strap. I love this handbag because I can fit my books in it. Okay, I don't go to school anymore, but I love drawing and writing while I'm at work. I did notice that there is a downfall to this wonderful object carrier made of artificial wonders, it doesn't have enough pockets. I don't enjoy putting my hand in my magic bag of daily goodies just so I can find my cellphone or keys.

My current handbag
I think it's time for this handbag to retire but I need to find a replacement first. Now, I need an everyday fashionable handbag with all of the things that the my handbag lacks. Price is also a major issue. I like saving  money and I think over priced bags are ridiculous. I found this website and I'm in love. They're not plain looking bags and they have great prices. These are my top three handbags and I'll probably get one soon.

Do you know of any websites with amazing handbags with great prices? Let me know in the comments!

Bored on the internet? IMPOSSIBLE!

I finish going through the many websites I check daily, I find myself with no idea on what to do on the Internet. I easily get tired of the same old jokes and videos, and I can only do so much on all of those networking sites. So what else is there to do on the Internet? FLASH GAMES! I don't mean those dress up flash games, (which are pretty entertaining, don't get me wrong) I mean simple yet challenging puzzle games. Here are some of my favorites!

Birchbox and Twistband Hair Ties

Heard of Birchbox? Me either until about 2hrs ago! I was reading another blog and saw that the blogger has a monthly subscription to receive beauty goodies. Apparently for $10 a month (you can cancel anytime, unless you sign up for the yearly subscription), you get a box full of sample sized beauty goodies!

I don't know about you, but I'm all into getting beauty goodies! The best part of this beauty goody box, is that you get to try different samples of products (all brand names) and decide for yourself if you want to purchase the full size product or not. How cool is that!? I would much rather get samples and try them out, than purchase the full size and be disappointed by it (although I have no problem returning any product I don't like).

Now, on this same blog I was reading, the blogger had received her monthly goody box and included was the Twistband Hair Ties, if you go to the Birchbox site and look under: shop, hair and then styling products, you'll see the Twistband. If you order 2 or more from Birchbox, shipping is free! I ordered them, because 1- since becoming a mom, my son is constantly pulling at my hair, 2- I hardly have any time to style my hair and 3- the Twistband site, claims that the hairbands won't leave marks on your head/hair (big plus for me); I'm hoping that they stay put and don't slide down. I'll review the Twistband hair ties once I receive and have tried them out!

So... I still haven't decided if I should subscribe to the Birchbox monthly goodies yet. What do you think?

Review- Garnier Eye Rollers

I decided a while ago, I would try the Garnier Eye Rollers. I purchased the Anti-Puff Eye Roller and also the Dark Circle Eye Roller. So far both products have done what the ads and directions claim to do.

The Anti-Puff Eye Roller, feels cool and refreshing when you roll it under your eyes (especially in the morning). One or 2 rolls under your eyes is enough to feel the effect. If there is too much products, lightly dab the remaining product with your ring finger. It contains natural ingredients, that will awaken the under eye area.

The Dark Circle Eye Roller, has the same cooling effect and almost the same ingredients as the Anti-Puff, except it comes with a neutral hue to brighten up the under eye area. The way I've been using it is, after I've already applied my foundation and concealer, I'll roll twice under each eye and dab (just as I did with the Anti-Puff) and then I apply a mineralized powder to set all my make-up. It really does brighten up the under eye area and I haven't had any problems with the roller hue causing creasing. This can also be reapplied, as necessary, throughout the day.

Some places, like CVS, Walgreens or Ulta have them on sale buy one get one 50%, you can also use a coupon towards the purchase, for example if you have a $1 off coupon towards the purchase of one and then have an Ulta coupon of $3.50 off $10 or more or 20% any one product. That way it comes out to be a great deal!

Recycling Clothing As Amazing Sculptures

With great shows such as Project Runway, fashion design is possibly one of the most interesting and talked about forms of design as of late. As an artist, I know that recycling my materials in anyway is not only cheaper but helps the environment. To be able to create such amazing sculptures with recycled clothing just blows my mind. These artists have used color and form in such an incredible and impacting way that I wish I could see it in person just to absorb it all.

As said on Fubiz™
The artist duo Guerra de la Paz, consisting of Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz,intelligently managed this challenge to recycle old clothes to create works of art. A realfreshness and an undeniable talent emerge from these compositions.

I just stumbled upon these and I am in love with the three looks below. I'd love for my hair to be long enough to try all of these. I'll just try the medium length version of theses for the weekend!
